CNC laser cutting
Since the first introduction of CO2 lasers in the 1970s, Technicraft has evolved along with the technique itself. This has enabled us to manufacture fast and precise laser profiling. With both 2KW and 4KW machines, the processing of 20mm mild steel, 15mm stainless steel and 10mm aluminium is easily achieved. This can be carried out on sheets up to 3m x 1.5m. Large and small repeatable production runs can be accommodated. This is possible with our fully automated material and component loading and unloading facilities. An accuracy of 0.05mm is achievable on both complex and simple profiles ensuring the highest of quality at all times. We use 3D CAD and offline machine programming in addition to utilising the most efficient profile nesting software. Our customers are, therefore, assured of the most competitive methods of production.
Design to production
Whether you choose to enlist the help of our in-house design capabilities or already have the design you want, we can move quickly to production. With the aid of CAD files such as DXF or DWG, it’s a quick and simple process to cut your product. We use the latest software to produce CAD/CAM files so we can efficiently nest all parts onto their relative material sheets. We offer first-off inspection as soon as the part is available and record feedback on a job sheet which follows the product to completion.
The ability to load and unload sheets automatically means the laser machines can run 24/7 giving the maximum production capacity. Technicraft (Anglia) Ltd can cut mild steel, coated steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We also offer post-laser cutting processes. These include vibration deburring for the smoothing of square edges. This also removes the oxide edge left by the laser-cutting gases. Unpre-treated items will benefit from this process. Ask Technicraft (Anglia) about CNC Laser cutting and we will deliver the quality and price you require.
