QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND ASSURANCE

We have always taken pride in the quality of our products and services. We were first certified in 1995 to quality management system BSEN ISO 9001:1994. Over the years, as the standard has evolved, so too have we. This has resulted in its re-certification, in 2016, to the new standard BSEN ISO 9001:2015.

QUALITY IN THE FACTORY

With the ISO Standard in mind, every project that goes on to the shop floor is accompanied by relevant documentation to maintain high quality management and assurance standards. This ensures we maintain all levels of inspection. We complete job folders that identify the product, material, customer and drawing issue. They are completed by every operative involved in every process to record production times, inspected quantities and first of inspection. A project will not move to the next process unless all required details are completed on the card. We save each job in our manufacturing software enabling us to trace the details at any time in the future. Crucially, we can repeat the job at a later date with ease.

THIRD-PARTY ASSURANCE

We apply a strict method of assessment before involving a third party in a project. This ensures we keep the level of our quality to the standard we and our cutomers require. We ask sub-contract suppliers to demonstrate their commitment to quality by working to an equivalent and greater standard than ourselves.
